　「日本人ファースト」を掲げ参院選で躍進した参政党が、７月２２日の参議院議員会館での定例記者会見の場から、神奈川新聞の記者を排除した。報道の自由を侵し、ひいては市民の知る権利を損ねるもので、公党としてあってはならない行為だ。　参政党は、排除の理由を「（当該記者は）本党の街頭演説で大声による誹謗中傷などの妨害行為に関与していた」とした。しかし、参政党の候補者が「外国人は優遇されている」と根拠のない主張を繰り返したり、差別に抗議する市民を「非国民」と呼んだりしたことを批判的に報じ..
