グローバル声明 今すぐ顔認識監視を止めなさい!

私たちは、顔認識による監視について、人権との非適合性に関する深刻な懸念から差別的影響の可能性、セーフガードの欠如、証拠基盤の欠如、必要性や比例性の証明されていない事例、十分な法的根拠の欠如、立法監督機能の欠如、民主的権限の欠如に至るまで、さまざまな懸念を抱いています。
これらの点から、私たちは以下のような結論にいたりました。180人の専門家は、警察、その他の国家当局、民間企業に対し、公にアクセス可能な空間の監視や、移民・亡命といった状況における人々への監視に顔認識を使用することを直ちに中止するよう要求します。
この呼びかけに署名したのは、市民社会組織と個人の専門家(テクノロジー、プライバシー、データ保護、人権の研究者、学者、アドバイザー、弁護士、その他の専門家を含む)です。
