On September 11th this year, America was suddenly attacked by terrorists whose leader is Osama Bin Laden. Some famous buildings were destroyed , and many lives were tragically sacrificed. Though American governments ordered Taliban to deliver Bin Laden, the offer wasn't accepted at all.
Therefore, the two countries have already entered into a state of war, and now, the world is under extreme tension.
It is natural that Taliban should be to blame, but I can`t agree to the action of America. The president, Bush, said, "Terrorists will repeat cruel deeds, so We must fight in the name of peace." But many innocent people are actually wounded and killed because of American bombings now. Where is America different from terrorists? What is the peace? I can't answer the questions.
At any rate America should stop the war immediately because we all know the folly of killing each other through the history. Violence gives rise to another violence. I only wish human beings would learn to solve their problems by means of talking as soon as possible.
Basically opinions in Japan are divided into two sides, the Liberal Democratic Party and the opposition party. Because of that, the Japanese government's reaction to the terrorism is always delayed.
The Liberal Democratic Party's opinions are that the government should send the Self Defence Forces
to Afganistan, that people should realize that the Japanese are also victims of the terrorism, and that there
is a strong possibility that Japan will be attacked.
The opposition party's oponions are that Japan shouldn't intrude on problems between the U.S.A. and
Afganistan, that we have no connection with the terrorism, and that sending the Self Defence Forces is a
vain effort.
In my opinion, I support the Liberal Democratic Party because people forget easily that the bereaved
families are still sorely distressed. I'd like to tell anybody who says we must respect the human right of
the people who caused this accident; "Can you say to the Jewish people that they should understand
Hittler's feelings?"
On 11th September, the terrorist attack happened in United States. This incident gave a shock all
over the world. In the terrorist attack, a lot of lives were lost.
President Bush said "we'll get revenge against Bin ladin and the Taliban." However, I can't understand why America wants to revenge. I think we can't get anything by revenge. It seems like a quarrel among children. This war involves ordinary people in both countries. And the number of victims and refugees has increased. First of all, we have to save such people. And I think both countries should know about difference of religion each other, and solve it peacefully.

Terrorist attacks change the world at once and make people anxious. First of all people all over the world are afraid of being attacked. Secondly it is the cause of war breaking out. Other countries are involved too. The war will be big.
In this war I wonder if American attacks on Afganistan could not be avoided. If America had not attcked Afganistan, the situation in the world would change now. To prevent America from being attacked more, America decided to attack Afganistan. I think this is bad decision, because there is possibility to involve people who unrelated to the war. To destroy the buildings and facilities makes the lives of people more severe. I think America should have taken more proper decision. It is not attack.
I want this war to end as soon as possible, and swear to make peace. I think it is not the only way to solve war to injure people. There are several other ways, for example consultation is the very best way! It is very important to make the world have no war and struggles. That is, peace is the most indispensable thing in our lives.

People will never forget the day, September. 11. 2001. Terrorists of Afghanistan attacked America.
The beautiful city Manhattan has changed its scene in a twinkle. People were screaming and shouting,
everybody was in panic. It was a long nightmare.
Why did this happen? What was Osama bin Laden's complaint against America? Even if he has a reason, terrorism is not a fair way. Moreover, he did not do it by himself, he commanded other people to attack America, and now he is hiding in a safe place, while innocent citizen are injured by
the revenge.
Osama bin Laden should be punished in some way. He took away huge number of people's lives, dreams and futures. And even today, many people are suffering from the terrorism. If
he won't appear, this war will not end.
I understand America's feeling. It must be the limit of their patience. But I think revenge won't solve this problem. They are doing the same thing as Osama bin Laden. It causes many victims. Violence won't solve the problem.
In conclusion, I think everybody should stop this war. It is just a vicious circle. No more people should be killed by the revenge. Don't hide Osama bin Laden anymore. His appearance will lead to the solution.
Last month, the United States of America was attacked by the terrorists. Four planes were hijacked and was crashed into the world trade center buildings and the Pentagon. Many people say that the chief of the terrorists is bin Laden from Afghanistan. The president of the United States of America, George Bush decided to fight against the terrorists, but he made some good and bad decisions. It is a good point to kill dangerous people, the terrorists, for the world. On the other hand, it is a bad point to kill the people who has nothing to do with the terrorists.
Firstly, Bush decided to fight against terrorists and I agree with that. It may be a good idea to attack on Taliban to stop terrorism, but it is not a very good idea to harm the people who has nothing to do with
terrorism. I heard on the news that there was an attack on a hospital in Afghanistan by the US. I feel sad for the people in the hospital.
Fighting against terrorists could be one way to solve the problem, but talking to each other could be another way. Now bin Laden is hiding somewhere in Afghanistan. He should come out and talk with Bush about what he did wrong and what Bush did wrong. I think as long as bin Laden keeps escaping from America, the problem will not be solved.
I want the terrorists and Bush to solve the problem as early as they can, because I don't want Japan to get involved in the war.

Acts of violence are shouldn't be allowed. For any reason acts of violence don't change things for the better. We should find any other way instead of violence.
Terrorism is one of act of violence. It kills many innocent people and destroys buildings. Terrorists want to impose their thoughts by terrorizing. They have to try to change things without act of violence. For example, to hold a demonstrations, to insist on their thoughts in newspapers or on TV and so on. Acts of violence cause only other acts of violence.
Retaliation is also an act of violence. It is almost the same as terrorism. It seems to be right, but innocent people are involved in it and are put in danger. Everyone has the right to live peacefully and no one has the right to disturb them.
The countries which are not concerned, including Japan has to think about what we can do. I don't think it is a good idea to send the Japanese Self-Defence Forces(SDF) to help the American Army. The Japanese SDF provide the American Army fuel and foods.
Japan seems to be not concerned in American retaliation, but to help the American Army means to help American retaliation. The Japanese SDF should help the refugees in Afghanistan. Many innocent people are scared of American retaliations. Japan has to try to make effort to make a peaceful world.
Everyone in the world knows acts of violence don't change things for the better, but there are still acts of violence. Each of us must think how to make a peaceful world and make effort for it.
The other day terrorist attacks happened in America. Many people died and in this attacks,there were many Japanese. I feel very sad. I will write what I think about these terrorism attacks.

On september 11 terrorists attacked one side of world trade center in America. And Iwatched this things on TV. I watched TV then a plane attacked the side of World Trade Center.
Now I think there is no peace in the world, because bin Ladin thinks that he wants to kill all people in America. Becuse I read news paper. I'm afraid of this things. If bin Ladin kills Americans, America will get revenge on bin Ladin. America has nuclear weapons, and bin Ladin too. On September 11th, the Terroists attaccked the World Trade Center and the Pentagonby airplains. Many people died in this disaster. In the World Trade Center, still the rescue works are continuing. The U.S.Government say that the principal offender is bin Ladin. Now the U.S.Army is attacking Afganistan and Taliban because they are hiding him.

When the attack happened, I was in the states and I faced USA's emotions. Because of the attack, we
overstayed for 5 days in Erie, Pennsylvania. While we walked around the city, the local people who just come
and go on the street talked us about the attack, like "Did you see the news?" "I cannot believe that!" "I am
so sad.", etc. I feel as if it were my own affairs. After that, we moved to Las Vegas in Nevada where my
best friend lives in. And also Las Vegas is the one of the most favorite places. By seeing the neon-lit streets beautiful hotels and shows, I feel really refreshed. But, this time was different. There many shows were refrained to held. So the entertainment city was really powerless.
The attack definitely should not happen! People who join it and feel happy with USA's damages are so
crazy. It is not religious war. I think the terrorists just want to emphasize their strength to the world, or
they feel a kind of envy of the USA-a big and strong country. But, I believe that they will have fair judgment at once.

I refered to a dictionary,"Peace". It means a situation in which there is NO WAR between countries or in a country. Our life is composed of besides peace and no war. I think it is a very good chance to think about terrorism deeply. I took a second look at our life and I think Japanese people are senility by peaceful life. I think I have to inrerested in about what happen in the world, and I would like to think about peace. I would like to hope for world peace.

The mass media don't inform us of Afghanistan's state in detail. So I don't know how is Afghan now. Probably right imformation about each other don't spread both American and Afghanistan, especially Afghanistan. They have bias about each other and don't try to compensate. If they throw away those bias and try to compensate, I believe that victims don't increase more than now. But I know it is very difficult to understand different conceptions. Everyone will want to reject to accept other conception. But if America and Afghan take a flexible attitude toward conceptions of each other, I believe that they can understand each other little by little.
