Worse than that: he is morally culpable.
Roberto: How can we get President Estrada to fire all the Glickmen in
his administration? In three weeks time, paid columnists will be
reporting the results of the Manila summit on Y2K. Guess the slant of
those future reports.
I guess one problem is how to be transparent and still prevent panic.
But a media cover-up now can only postpone the panic. Yelling "fire"
in a crowded theater would be criminal if there were no fire. But
there is fire, and the Glickmen know it. They are paid taxpayers'
money to know it. With this knowledge, they are stationing themselves
nearest the fire exits. You will soon be able to tell from
stock-market and money-market analysis that smart money is near the
exits or through the exits even this early in the time-table of
Stackhouse in his Best Case Scenario.
I guess we have to fall back on the soul-searching questions and
personalization of intuited insights that you and Christopher have
brought up. Hopefully, the Glickman mindset will, like Margaret
Wheatley, notice the absence of Spirit in their (me-first)
deliberations. Come, Holy Spirit.
