Raised from donations from our members and the general public, WAAF Fund is an annual grant, ranging from $500 to $5,000, awarded to projects devoted to the eradication of FGM in Africa. WAAF accepts applications directly from interested NGOs working in Africa, and each year one or two projects are selected after a careful screening process.

Applications for WAAF Fund 2009 are currently being accepted, and the deadline for applications is 31 August 2009. Successful applications will be announced in February 2010.

Contact WAAF at waafjapan@hotmail.com for the guidelines to applications and the application form. PDF files for these are provided below. Please read the guidelines before completing the form, which should be sent together with required documents by email, post, or fax by the deadline date.
