Satoshi Omori, Born in 1927, A Former Worker of the
Sumitomo Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Who Served There for 34 Years.
His Disease, Complications with Pnumoconiosis, was Recognized as
Occupational inApril, 1996.
He Died of Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma in June, 2001, at the Age
of 74.

He was a leader of the victims campaign to eliminate the asbestos
Hazard.

While fighting against mesothelioma under continuous oxygen treatment at
home, he never lost his anger towards the guilty company and his
determination to eliminate the asbestos hazard.
