Our movement began with handling the issues of Korean people residing in Japan.@We campaigned in 1980 to get rid of nationality barriers in employing Osaka-fu officials. In 1991, we joined a struggle of technical trainees coming from the Philippine, which led us to join the establishment and activities of RINK.What characterizes RINK in the 1990s is that they made a lot of negotiations with the administration. We have experienced tough days questioning what we do as a worker and what is "raison d'etre" of a trade union. |
