2000年 (Y2K) 問題対応メンテナンス (サーバ停止)

JCA-NET 技術スタッフチームではこの間、JCA-NET サーバの 2000 年
(Y2K) 問題に対する対応について検討し、問題点の修正をおこなってきま
した。
その一環として、通常の定期メンテナンスのほかに、サーバを停止して大
規模メンテナンスをおこないます。
作業期間と内容は以下のとおりです。ご協力をお願いいたします。

うち、サーバ停止期間 15:00-21:00

サーバの OS のバージョンアップ
2000 年問題未対応ソフトウェアのバージョンアップ
サーバの増設

JCA-NET server will stop for the special maintenance to cope

with possible Y2K problems (Dec 12)

JCA-NET technical staff team has been investigating the possible
Y2K problems on JCA-NET servers and modificated several the
systems on our servers.
As a part of this maintenance work, we will stop the servers to
enable for us to check our servers wholly.
The duration of this maintenance and the contents are as follows.
We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation for the
inconvinience.
Date: December 12, 12:00 - 22:00
(servers will stop from 15:00 to 21:00)
Content:
- updating the Operating System of servers
- updating the softwares of old versions
that may cause
- problems in year 2000.
- installing more servers
- etc.
