１９９３年は人口１万２千人。一年後に８千人に減少したが、今では、１万７千人に
増加した。

地域経済の死を悼む「弔いの鐘」ではなく、実は、新しい経済発展への道筋を指し
示す「胎動の鐘」なんだ、なんてね。う〜ん、これ自体は正しいのだが、沖縄はどう
してくれる？
