URGENT APPEAL:
STOP THE VIOLENCE IN EAST TIMOR!  INDONESIA, OUT OF EAST TIMOR!

below are appeal from NGO based in Ohita, Japan which makes
6 point for Japan Govenment action.
1. Condemn Indonesian Government for failing to play its role to provide
   security for the E.Timor people, and urge immediate implementation
2. Urge Indonesian Government to take action towards disarmament of the
   militia forces
3. Urge Indonesian Govenment to accept the UN Peace Keeping Force
   enter E.Timor
4. Urge Indonesian Government for repatriation of its Military Forces
   including immediate repatriation of Kopassus (special forces) which
   have been deeply involved with the militia forces and provided them
   with training, finance, and armaments
5. to establish Consulate of Japan in East Timor for the purpose of
   monitoring the security situtaion
6. Communicate to the Indonesian Govenment the possibility of economic
   sanction and discontinuation of Official Develepment Aid.
