"Trafficking in women and children in Asia"
3 June, 1-2 pm, UN Church Centre

Speakers: Anuradha Koirala, Mita Nepal; Elaine Pearson, GAATW; Rahnuma
Afrin, ActionAid Bangladesh.

The session will include a short video on
trafficking in Nepal, with commentary by Ms. Koirala of Mita Nepal,
renowned in India and South Asia for its ingenious methods of identifying
traffickers.  Panellists will discuss, among other issues, strategies for
ensuring that governments develop and enforce legislation to discourage
traffickers.
