The following corrections should be made to the Beijing+5 Update #1, which 
was sent out last Friday, 4 February.  Our apologies for any confusion.

In the section addressing information for the PrepCom, please note that NGOs 
affiliated with the UN Department of Public Information (DPI) should not 
contact Helene Hoedl.  They should send queries on eligibility criteria and 
registration procedures for Beijing+5 to fax # 212-963-6914, or to e-mail 
<dpingo@un.org>.

In the section under "NGO EVENTS," please note that UNICEF House is located 
on East 44th Street, not West 44th Street.

In the section under "TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS," several people mentioned that 
the three recommended websites containing hotel information for New York City 
did not appear.  They are:
<www.nycvisit.com> (New York City Convention & Visitors Bureau), 
<www.bestnychotelrates.com>, and <www.excite.com/travel>

Lastly, in the section labled "UPDATES," please note the following correction 
concerning the WomenAction website, which is not maintained by the 
International Women's Tribune Center.  The WomenAction 2000 global website 
(http://www.womenaction.org) is maintained by a coalition of NGO women's 
media/information groups from every world region, with links to WomenAction 
2000 regional websites in Africa, Asia/Pacific, Latin America/Caribbean, and 
Europe/North America.
